If it slides grease it. Oil is not grease.
I put a little dollop of Tetra grease on the slides of my semi-auto pistolas. They will extract and chamber a round faster than any other while not causing any wear.

Lube plate grease that comes in those little WWII style yellow top tubs that fit in the stock of an M1 Garand. Best grease I have ever seen. Brownells has it in a larger can. I put a little on the 5 points that you lube on a Glock.

I use shooters grease on the slide rails. Because I will clean the gun and may not shoot for a month or two. And I think the oil runs off after a little while.

I use Berryhills' ultimate gun lube nowadays on my 1911's. Ultimate Gun Lube - $4.99 : Berryhill Custom LLC, Quality Gun Parts
Really can't advise you on what would be best for a gluck. Have you tried Testors?
