Hey guys, I was culling some of my pistol brass today and wondered if anyone is as anal about their brass as I am. I toss anything that has any indents in it. Am I too OC or is this the wise course?

Oh god, don't tell him that. He'll track you down and follow you around at the range. Don't matter how many times he gets burned, he'll always go after the hot ones.:D

Brass is pretty much the most expensive part of a bullet. I've been collecting mine for the past two months, saving it away until I start reloading.

Wow, I must be like the only person here who reloads regularly. Woot, more free brass for me!

I run my brass through the Dillon and if it still looks damaged, I will chunk it. The resizer fixes most of the slightly bent cases. I do not load my pistol stuff very hot. The exception is a few 10mm loads. The tendonitis in my elbow tells me not to do that anymore. :cry:

I bought some Starline 10mm brass several years ago and it has held up well. 10mm range brass is hard to fine.

You hold down the east side of the state, and Ill hold down the west ;).

small dings in the brass doesnt phase me much, just as long as I can straighten it with a rifle case and the sizing die.

I don't care either, as long as the re-sizer takes them out.

Yeah, the ones I have aren't coming out in the resizer, but they're pretty dang small dings. I guess I'll just continue to err on the side of caution.

I'd estimate about 2000 rounds of 308 brass, 1000 or so of .45 brass, 1000 of 9mm brass,and somewhere between 900-2000 rounds of 30-06 brass,various and copious amounts of swedish 6.5mm brass,
a lee turret press, dies,primers and 2 wooden mortar cases filled with bullets for all of the above...
oh..and a couple of FAL rebuild kits..including the barrels and stocks and such.

Give me all of your culled 9mm, .40, and .45 because if they will fit in the chamber I will shoot them.
