Black powder rifles are starting to sprout up regularly now in the Times Free Press classifieds. I see today there is a Remington 700 muzzleloader with a Nikon scope for $300. Also a .45 Pedersoli flintlock for $300.

Think they would get offended if we called up and offered what it is worth...about $400?

You never know what a gun will sell for until you try. A friend of mine listed his hi point 9mm pistol for $200, and got what he asked of, no trouble. You can buy them new for $139 or thereabouts. And some people are happy to pay extra to avoid a paper trail.

I honestly don't think that much sells on golsn. Stuff that is priced reasonable maybe, but those listings are few and far between. Half the folks are so embarrassed of their asking price they won't even list it, instead listing the item for trade.
I appreciate the Chattanooga classifieds being listed by mouseguns. The gun classifieds used to be easy to get to on the paper's website, but they "fixed it 'til it broke" and you "can't get there from here" any longer.

I agree about stuff not selling on LSN. If you go there regularly you see the same listings being reposted over and over again without ever being marked down in price.
