I have been looking at a CR license for sometime. I think it would be awesome to be able to have a mosin nagent shipped to my door! I have snooped around on the internet and have found the form to send in and have read about the discipline of keeping a bound book. My questions involve the rest of my collection that is NOT C&R. Do I need to list that in the bound book? I know I am not supposed to sell for profit that the license is designed to help me augment my collection but what if I want to sell something to get something else? I'm not a rich man but I got gun fever real bad and most of the time getting a new gun means selling an old one. Can someone help me decipher if this is a good idea for me. Tell me what it looks like to have a license and the pros and cons of owning one. I would appreciate it.

The C&R has nothing to do with any other firearm except C&R's. You do not have to keep a record of non C&R guns.
It's very easy and cheap to get your C&R FFL. Yes, you can then have C&R guns shipped dirrectly to your door, but you can also get discounts on stuff at places like MidwayUSA and Brownells.
This thread has lots of information.

Check that thread that TDR gave you, lots of good info in there. In short, only firearms that you purchased using your 03FFL are logged into the bound book, and yes, you can sell them, you just can't do it as a source of income.
