As some of ya'll know I picked up a nice M64 S&W and since I'm into bullet casting I also picked up a mold from Midway. I cast a few bullets today and the only lube I had on hand was some 50/50 Beeswax/Crisco that I made up for a 45/70 Sharps back when I was using Black Powder to load with. The lube works great with BP but I'm wondering if it'll be ok with smokeless in a low pressure ctg. like the 38 spl. From what I've been reading on the net it may be ok but I just wanted to see if anyone here had used it before or if they had any input on the matter. Thanks.
