LARGO, Md. — Three men were gunned down Sunday night at a Maryland restaurant after an argument during the Super Bowl, the Washington Post reported Monday.
The shootings ocurred at about 9:20 p.m. at the Uno Chicago Grill in Largo. Police could not determine if the argument had anything to do with the game. Witnesses said the shooting occurred about the time the New York Giants scored a touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
Terrance Lynne Sneed, 22, of Hyattsville, and Curtis Lee Poston, 26, of Temple Hills, were shot in the bar area of the restaurant, which was packed with people watching the game, police told the Washington Post. Charles Dontee Harrison, 25, of Landover, fled the restaurant and was shot dead in the parking lot.
The victims were believed to be arguing with two other men during the game when one pulled out a gun and started firing. The two are described as black males in their 20s, one with dreadlocks and a light complexion while the other had darker skin and was heavy-set, the Washington Post reported.
Police say the gunman fled the scene in a red Dodge Charger.

It doesn't seem that stuff like this happening will help in getting the restaurant bill passed in TN. No word if the shooter was carrying legally or illegally. Hopefully the latter...

MD probably doesn't allow carry in restaurants either... shame. Not to mention how impossible it is to get a permit in MD to begin with.

Its just really aggravating that a silly argument can lead to all those kind of things involving a gun for this particular situation...much like the Hooter's situation here....

And you have a Maryland license, you can carry virtually anywhere, including restaurants and bars. The whole problem is getting the state police to issue you one, unless you are a doctor, lawyer, other professional dealing with money (business owner), or private investigator. I read a story about a man who went through a several month process of appeals just to get one because he lacked 'need'. The guy had to write state legislators and other state govt folks. After much persistance, the state police isssued him one (i'm sure they eventually got tired of hearing from him). Persistance can pay off.

the bad thing is.....the ani gun will have a field day with this about carrying guns around alcohol...reguardless if they had a permit or not...or if its justified...all they will hear:

Gun+Bar= dead people....over a superbowl
