There are some good comparisons of how the bullets hold up in water (not so much for determining effectiveness as simple relative comparison)

I've never used Mag-tech... I've never heard anything good or bad about them though.

I've used mag-tech FMJs in my Glock 30 and never had a problem.

thanks guys, Hey has any one ever ran a wet phone book test on different ammo to check expansion and penetration. I would like to do it just to see what I could learn about different ammo. Any one know where I could get about 20 big thick phone books, I'd need about 1000 Stewart county phone books.

Phonebooks, what are these phonebooks you speak of?

All kidding aside, only experience I have had with Magtec was the first 100 rounds that went through my XD. No problems whatsoever with my limited experience.

I don't know about their defensive ammo, but their ball is fine.

I've used it and never had any problems (9mm). I use their "First Defense" in 9mm. It is similar to Cor Bon DPX but in a lighter bullet weight (92.6grns vs 115grns). Never any problems and shoots well.
