Allright Ladies and Gentleman, grab some pens and paper, Wordpad, a quill pen, a piece of parchment, and a pigeon, whatever, but start writing.

Rep. Carolyn McCarthy from NEW YAHK is heading up a new ban.

No co-sponsors as of yet, but let's make sure she doesn't get any out of Tennessee. There's been talk of TGO as a political organization right? Well let's show some muscle and let the government know what WE THE PEOPLE think for a change. The democrats won the elections mostly which means alot of gun owners HAD to vote for them to give them a chance. Let them know if they wanna stay in office they better do right by us, because we won't stand for it anymore.

The line is being drawn, where do you stand?

I think my area of Tennessee is pretty secure in being against gun control.

On a national basis, I wonder if the liberals are really going to push this until after the next Presidential election. It's probably a vote loser for them and the way things are looking, the next CIC may actually lobby for more gun restrictions rather than be passive about them.

I'm not especially worried about this bill getting through, there isn't enough support for it at this time. They have failed to re-implement the AWB for the past 3 years...

I'm far more apprehensive about the content of the legislation which will be pushed after the next election...

I'm worried enough to toss out an email at least. It probably won't get through, but I hate to get to complacent right now. Especially with folks like Hillary and Osama, I mean Obama running. :D

Also, if you dont fight to get rid of the ban in some way, like email or telephone calls, you have no right complaining! Just like the Voting thing to me! You dont vote, you have no right complaining about what is taking place in the world! Again my .02!
