Myself & ProguninTN have corresponded briefly about meeting up at On-Target this weekend for an informal meet & greet, shooting, and possibly a meal. We wanted to see who all would come, if invited.

The range is open till 10pm on Friday... I am free that night, or Saturday morning/mid-day...

May as well make this a poll.

I will enjoy meeting whoever comes...

Their site says 10am for Sat... but I'm not sure how up-to-date their site is.

If not, then 11am at the earliest...

I might could make it out Saturday morning.

Sounds like fun to me. Never been to On-Target before. I have to be in Sumner County 2pm-3pm ish Sat, so I may not make it depending on what time is decided on. I'll be watching the poll.

Sounds good. I will see if I can make it up there. I probably won't shoot, but I will gladly come up and socialize for a while.

I would come, but it's my Grandfather's 80th birthday Saturday.

Friday night might be doable for me, but seems that others need Saturday.

Some other time, perhaps.

I might be able to do the noonish thing.

Either time works for me.

Depending on what time it happens, perhaps before or after we can adjourn to one of the nearby restaurants for some grub. There's a Moe's burrito place and a new Red Robin burger joint within 2 blocks. Red Robin is brand spanking new and stays really crowded, though.

Food sounds good to me. It's starting to look like a mid-day Saturday event... Perhaps an early lunch beforehand. In that case, we'll have to decide where to meet.

I've never set foot inside Red Robin since it's been open, but I do know where it is. I'm not picky about my food, as long as I can place my order in English... So that would be fine with me.

So... are we still doing this and at what time? Eating before or after? :D

I know that I will be there... So, based on the responses, I'd expect to shoot for a 11:30am Saturday (pun intended) arrival at either On-Target or a Resturaunt...

The meeting location TBD, but I will definetly be there. I'm only planning to bring whatever I am carrying that day, to shoot, and possibly rent something else to try out, if there's anything new available...

All other details are up for dicussion:

1. Solid meeting time (11:30? noon?)
2. Meeting place (Red Robin is fine with me)

Just a word of warning that Red Robin is usually really packed because of how new it is. If you want to spend less time waiting and more time shooting, I'd suggest Moe's.

Red Robin is very good though!

I've never been to RR, so I'll defer on that decision to others' opinion... Personally, I usually just stop for a quick sandwich @ Quizno's.

I'm open to any & all suggestions.

It does not matter to me where you guys choose to eat because I will be out of town.

Alright.

2 days out, let's nail this down... How does 11:30am @ Moe's this Saturday sound to those who are coming?

I'm going to have to wait and see what's on the agenda in the morning. I might be up there, and then again, I might not. I've got alot going on with the new house I'm building and don't know what'll come up from day to day.

I'm out. I had PRK surgery yesterday and haven't recovered enough to see 100% yet. I'd probably be poking holes in everyone else's targets right now. :D

Sorry that I couldn't make it y'all. I had a funeral to go to. Some friends of ours lost a child in Florida in a car wreck and they put him to rest on Saturday.

To everyone who came... It was great meeting you! Confirmed in my mind what a great group of people we have here.

Tungsten, Southpaw... you have a beautiful family. It is so awesome that you all go shooting together!

Hornet, Lil'shooter... Great to meet you, I very much enjoyed the meal-time conversation!

ProguninTN... Excellent to finally put a face with the name, a couple years (and, as you said, 3 forums later). Your dad is good-people, in my book... tell him to not be a stranger.

Mike... I don't know where I was when you popped in to say 'hey', sorry I missed you and didn't get to introduce myself.

We had most of the range to ourselves, so we all spread out and had a very enjoyable time for about an hour. And even though I was stuffed with a huge burrito from Moe's, I managed to put 250rd of .357sig downrange with my P239... and kept them on paper...

Southpaw let me fire a few rounds through her MP-9 Compact... SWEET shooting little pistol. I think I still prefer my XDs, but I'm glad to see that another manufacturer finally got it right, as well!

I look forward to our next collective outing!

To everyone who was unable to make it... I hope that circumstances permit you to join us on another occasion, you won't regret it. (just be careful how much guacamole you put on your burrito...)

GT, best wishes for a speedy recovery! I've considered having that procedure for some time now... Let us know how you like it.

demon, I'm sure that was tough... To me, the saddest thing in the world is when a child is taken from it. I'll be able to go shooting again in a few weeks, after my camping trip, and the Busch race in Nashville... I'd be interested in an outdoor range, since it's so nice out. I'll catch you on here or give you a call.

Peace,
