Formerly a Yankee...but I got here as quick as I could.
10 years Army Aviation, UH-1 and OH-58 pilot.
CCW holder since 2005, AL CCW before that.
Took the CCW class and scared the crap out of myself with all the legal ramifications. Thought I'd better "be all I could be".

Took the Tactical Response Fighting Pistol course and got my Mindset right.

Love to train, have also taken the Fighting Rifle twice.

Next class will be the Tactical Response 2 day precision Rifle class in late March. Also need Immediate Action Medical. I figure if I have the mindset to take a life in defense of my own....I should be able to save a life as well.

When home or traveling by car, I carry 100% of the time. When traveling by air, I do not. I need to remedy that.

I look forward to good TN pertinent firearms info from this board. I hope to contribute quality info as well. I vow to stay in my lane.

Glad to have you here, Chris. Still enlisted or retired from the military? Regardless, thanks for your service! :usa:

Hello, Where in the Mid TN area do you live ? I'm north of Nashville and we have a great indoor range close to my house. We also have a great club (North Tennessee Practical Shooters) that meets on the second weekend in Dickson for some safe and FUN shooting. Alot of great people, alot of great fun.

Take Care,

I highly recomend NTPS. That is my fun gun time. The rest is work, work I enjoy but work none the less.

Chris,

Let me know if you would like to use my Savage in the class. I'm in the process of puting a rem 700 together also. I do not have any glass for it yet but it has mounts.
