I never used to believe the conspiracy theorists until McCain became the GOP's man of the hour. When that happened, I started to wonder if THEY were really right and that some secret backroom organization planted McCain as the GOP candidate to make sure that the DNC gets control of the White House in 2008.

NY has how many electoral votes?
How much money is in NY and how much of that has been going to Obama?

So McCain decides to go there and give the mayor a blow job so everyone feels better and starts writing him checks.
It will not go further than that. Bloomberg as VP is Dee EE Dee Ded. He would alienate the right wing, which is the one that will turn out to get him elected.
