Why couldn't they just send it back to you? You're someone who is somewhere, aren't you? |

I was under the impression that all SBR's/NFA items had to pass through an FFL

There are certain caveats though, such as in the case of an out of state purchase which would have to go through an FFL, but if you own a rifle and want to register it as an SBR you simply need to follow the instructions, file the forms and pay the tax.
There are a lot of "smoke and mirrors" ideas out there. I'm just trying to clear up the air best I can. |

Quick question, when filling out a form 4 using a trust, will a copy of the trust paperwork need to be included with the form for when sending it in?

Question...
In looking at the above link, under the "faq" section it says this: Quote:
Also, does anyone know of any lawyers in the Memphis area that have experience with setting up a trust for an NFA item? I looked at www.guntrustlawyer.com but they want $600 to start with and any changes to the trust are extra. I've got a copy of Quicken Willmaker, but I want to make sure all my t's are crossed and i's dotted. Thanks
