Rules: Current NRA highpower rules will apply to all matches
Competition Open to: Any individual member of the NRA or a member of an NRA affiliated junior rifle club.
Entries limited to Range Capacity: 80 competitors in four (4) relays.
Advance registration can be made by mail, send entries to MSSA address and send to attention of Russ Theurer, enclose check and the completed entry form on the last page of this bulletin.
Registration: will open at 7:30 AM and will close at 8:45 AM each day.
Registration will be held at the covered portion of the 600 yard line.
Ammunition: Competitors will furnish their own ammunition.
Pit Duty: Competitors will be required to work in the pits.
Challenge Fee $3.00
Classification: NRA classification will be used in all matches
Unclassified competitors will compete in the master class. Rule 19.6 – Assigned classification, or Rule 19.2 Temporary Classification may be used.
ANY Rifle: ( rule 3.2)
Service Rifle: (rule 3.1, 3.1.1)
FTR Rifle: F – Class Target Rifle ( rule 3.4b)
F-O Rifle: F – Class Open, (rule 3.4a)
Sights: Metallic (Rule 3.7a) & ANY
Empty Chamber Indicators: NRA rule 3.2 the empty chamber indicator will be used to indicate that the chamber is clear. Empty chamber indicators will be available from match officials for $1.00
NOTE: F-Class Will shoot in there own respective division and classification, on NRA approved F-Class Targets

State Champion must be a resident of Tennessee. A separate award will be givin for High non resident.


Saturday, November 7th
Day 1, Metallic Sight, Any Rifle
Entries open at 7:30 AM
Entry Fee $40 Adult all rifle, juniors $20.00 Entries made on the range prior to firing,
Registration will open at 6:30 AM and will close at 8:45AM
Registration will be held at the covered portion of the 600 yard line.
Firing will commence at 9:00 AM
Course of Fire: Regional Mid Range Course with 2 sighters for each position.
Match 1, - ANY-Rifle, Metallic Sight, Unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record, 300 yards, Time limit of 22 Min., MR63
Match 2, - Any-Rifle, Metallic Sight, Unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record, 500 yards, Time limit of 22 Min, MR65
Match 3, - Any-Rifle, Metallic Sight, Unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record, 600 yards, Time limit of 22 Min., MR1
Match 4, - Metallic Sight Aggregate. An Aggregate of matches 1,2, & 3.


Sunday, November 8th
Day 2, Any Sight Any Rifle. Commence Fire @ 09:00

Squadding, will be held at the covered portion of the 600 Yard line. Closes At 8:45 AM

Match 5, - Any- Rifle, Any Sight, Unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record, 300 yards, Time limit of 22 Min., MR63
Match 6, - Any Rifle, Any Sight, Unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record, 500 yards, Time limit of 22 Min.,MR65
Match 7, - Any Rifle, Any Sight, Unlimited sighters, 20 shots for record, 600 yards, Time limit of 22 Min., MR1
Match 8, AnySight Aggregate. An Aggregate of Matches 5,6 & 7
Match9, Mid RangeState Champion. Match 4&8

AAward Disposition, There must be four (4) or more in a class for one award 8 or more for two awards and 12 or more for 3 awards. Nor awards below 3rd place will be given. If there is fewer than the required number of entrees in a class to provide awards, they will be combined with the same class in a different category. If there are still less than four (4) entries after combining all categories in a class, there will be no awards provided in that class and all competitors in the lower class will be moved back to their respective category in the next higher class until there is a minimum of 4 competitors in the combined class. Match Director reserves the right to change the match program as needed.
Special Categories: must indicate special category on the SR-1 card.

This is the last match of the year.. Those of you in the middle and west end areas of the state that would like to come shoot.. do so.. there will be food presented after the shooting on sat.. bring 22 extra rounds for a team match to be conducted after the individual course of fire. Bi-pod rifles will shoot F-Class. Come and enjoy the feastivities and feast. It will be good to see you there!

Hope the weather clears for the match Froggyone! Some of the middle TN shooters have already headed that way. My daughter is coming home from college for fall break, so I am "spoken for" this weekend.

If you noticed.. this match is on the 7th and 8th of Nov.. so if your daughter is comming in this weekend.. then you have some time still to get ready for it.

Just a post to up this .. and remind anyone.. if you would like to get a chance to shoot with some of the best.. and learn a lot.. this is a great chance.. both "sling" and "F-Class" will be present.. in fact.. Danny Biggs the F/TR National Champion for this year and last year will be there..There will be food provided on Sat after the Team match.. and door prizes to be given away. Also.. each catagory will recieve medals for thier high efforts.
