He was in the hospital for over a month before he was discharged. He's been at home for a few weeks now and he is doing great. I went to see him today for his birthday party and he was the same exact guy as before.

His only permanent injuries is the loss of vision in his right eye and all the titanium plates in his head. He doesn't have any brain damage and for the most part seems perfectly normal. He is so fortunate that his injuries were not worse. Losing an eye is horrible but considering he is lucky to be alive I think he's doing just fine. If my cousin had not pulled him from the lake he wouldn't even be here with us today.

He has already been discharged from physical therapy and finally after TWO MONTHS got his neck brace taken off. The docs even told him he could go back to work whenever he wants. His last step is some rehab to make sure he can drive a car safely.

I want to thank everyone for the prayers and encouraging words. It looks good, so I went to order one tonight in Oak Ridge.

I checked the price online, 12 dollars with 3 toppings.

I called in, I and started my order. I was told that it is 12 dollars for up to 3 toppings.

First Topping I pick Pepperoni.
Second I ask for extra Cheese.

I am then told extra cheese has an added cost ($2). Wait, Extra cheese is a topping in my book. I haven't even got to the 3 topping yet and they are starting to add on extra costs already.

Correct me where I am wrong, but I figure a pizza listed at a set price with 3 toppings I should be able to pick any 3 toppings on the menu. If I want to be crazy and pick the same topping 3 times even right?

I guess I feel there should not have been an extra cost until I hit a 4th topping but I was only going to 2 toppings.

In short, I did not order it and I went to Little Caesars instead.

Yes I know the picture says price may vary but they did tell me on the phone 12 dollars includes 3 toppings.

My wife's mother told us after our son was born, that when ever we wanted it, my wife's grandmother's house was ours for the taking since grandma is in nursing care with acute dimentia. My wife and I have been away from our families (we both grew up in the northern suburbs of Chicago) for about 5 years now, and with us having a child at the end of last year (and her father passing two weeks before we got pregnant), we have been feeling the pull of friends and family. Couple that with an abysmal employment situation in Nashville, and a lees than $3k a year property tax (rent) on this house, and the decision was virtually a no-brainer. My only regret is moving back to this backwards, corrupt, broke state.

I plan on hanging around here (if y'all will still have me) for some time, as It will remind me of my transplanted home.

He walks up, I have my hands on the wheel so he can see them. He asks for my licence, registration, and proof of insurance. As I hand him the stuff I say I'm a consealed carry permit holder and I am armed. He says ok. That's cool.
He goes back and runs my licence and then comes back and asked if I know why he pulled me over? I say because I was going 80? He laughs and says yeah. Then he asks why was I going that fast? I don't have answer for that, at least nothing that would hold water. So my question is why do they always ask that? Is there some magic answer that he is looking for? Overall he was real cool but I still got a ticket. It turns out that my proof of insurance is out of date and he let's it slide. Very cool because that could have gotten expensive.
On top of the ticket I got to hear the whole I told you to slow down speech from my wife. The Atlanta Zombie Apocalypse is an immersive Halloween attraction like nothing seen or experienced before. This isn’t a leisurely stroll through a haunted house. A group is lead through the apocalypse by Sergeant John McKinsey. Will they make it through the chaos and constant zombie attacks from all sides? If they move quickly and stick close to Mack they stand a chance, but most likely not everyone will get out alive. With plenty of gunfire, explosions, car crashes, gore, and of course many zombie attacks inside and out, this is what the end of the world would look like.
