We had a period of unexpected downtime from approximately 11pm CST to 9am CST when our web hosting company performed hardware upgrades on our server that left us lying dead in the water.

They were in communication with me from the outset and let me know that things hadn't gone according to plan. We were returned to operation at about 8:30am today, but I took an additional 30 minutes to make another full backup of our site before returning it to the web.

We're back online now and I do not anticipate any further problems.
