open end iwb

I just got a don humes iwb fits my sig p245 fine. The barrell extends thru the bottom the holster maybe 3/4". I've seen this on owb holsters. Is this ok with iwb ? it's comfortable holds weapon fine and draws fine. Any downsides ?

it will be fine so long as the front sight doesn't catch, and it sounds like you are clear in that respect. Crossbreed supertucks are the same way and I wouldn't trade mine for anything.
