Having visited Korea a couple of times during my 20 yrs in the Navy...some advise...LOL...not that you'll need it. Get some WARM gear to wear...it never really gets all that warm and sunny...learn to like KIM-CHI (sp)....and try the Korean BBQ...nothing in the world like it. Oh...and try the dried frozen SQUID-sickles from the street venders.

And...thanks for your SERVICE...it is deeply appreciated.

Yes I will be living in Clarksville and I'm sure I will be heading to Nashville pretty often so we will have to meet up for a few. I won't be bringing JustAGirl though, sorry.

Thanks for the advice Dave. In case you missed the update I have I have already been here for a year and I will be heading home in a few weeks.

And I am going to miss that Korean BBQ!

When you get back and settled, let me know and I will post bulgogi/kal-bi, chapchea and mandu recipes. I too missed the food, so I started cooking it myself. The wife doesnt like kimchee so she wont let me make my own, so I have to buy it. LOL
