Man it got thirsty out last night.

Started with Old Bardstown and water on the rocks and after quite a few of those I switched it up to some Westerhall Rum with a splash of diet Pepsi for color.

My head feels like I was run over by a truck. Thank God I quit smoking. If I went through a pack or two of butts last night I may have actually died this morning.

The 80 proof seemed like a mediocre bourbon. No character really, not bad mind you but nothing to get worked up over. I am guessing it meets minimum requirements to be bourbon. Now the 86 proof is a bit better. Aside from more alcohol it has more body. It is not as hot as the 80 proof seemed. I would rate it a little better tasting than Beam white label
