Here is a little taste of what I am missing while I am gone.
This little party was thrown by a good friend of mine down in Franklin. For all you beer lovers, try not to drool on your keyboard. The Great Beer Tasting June 15, 2009 ?(BelgianBoyTN)? |

I still cannot believe it, but after blowing the hell out of some targets today with Garufa I stopped on the way home for some liquid refreshment.
Usually it is fast in and out, grab some Coor's light and go. Today i stood dumbfounded in front of the beer cooler at the IGA. So many choices, so much thirst to quench. I decided on Corona Light. Also got a bag of ice to dump in the box. I know it is like the polar opposite of Coor's Light. But the other night, in an act of kindness, and from out of the blue, I mean way out of the f'ing blue, my wife brought home a 6 pack of Corona Light and three limes. In 25 years we have been together she has never, not even one time, bought me beer from out of the blue. Well it was delicious. So today while studying the beer cooler at Midway IGA I opted for a 12'er of Corona Light. It has been very good. Only 4 more to go. Damn, not even 9 pm yet. I hope beer is not a gateway to liquor.

Stopped at the Bait Shop and picked up some Budweiser American Ale(Had never seen it before). Not bad but for the price I could have gotten something better. But six will last me for awhile. Next on the menu is either a Jack/Diet Coke or Straight Single Barrel.

I tried New Belgium Fat Tire tonight. I had heard so much about it on here that I had to give it a shot. It turned out to be a good decision. All I can say is mmmmmm. A VERY good beer, a must try!
