I believe Stoeger is part of Benelli Corporation, along with Uberti and Franchi. Stoeger bought the manufacturing rights when Berretta dropped the 8000 series a couple of years ago.

...but anyway...

The Cougar in 9mm is also a nice choice for CCW. The one my boy had a few years ago was 100x better than the Berretta PX4 he traded it for. (too stubby and had a hell of a muzzle flip.)

Yes and Yes. Stoeger is owned by Benelli. They did buy Berretta's manufactoring dies and machines and moved it all from Italy to Turkey. Essentially it is exactly the same as the Berretta made on the same machines just in a different location.

CZ RAMI? I just bought one today, and it is a kick butt subcompact. My pinkie hangs free but recoil is very light and follow up shots are very easy. Holds 10 with flush fit mags and it's DA/SA.

DA/SA, Hammer Fired (DAO is okay I guess...)
Decocker (if DA/SA)
10 round + capacity
At least 9mm
Reputation for reliability
Reasonable price

I already know that I can get a USP that fits all of these criteria, just exploring my options.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. If anything I said is incorrect or whatever, tell me, I don't wanna be the "clips and bullets" guy.

Don't know about the rest of the people here, but I've never seen a Glock with a DA\SA hammered,or a Sig with ambi controls

That said,I'd look at a Ruger P95 if price is a deciding factor.
HK's are great guns from what I hear, but I cant afford one to base an opinion off of though

Para Ordnance double stack 1911s fit most of the criteria especially the "big hands" part. There are different DA or SA models from "GI" type to target level "Limited" versions with the sweet triggers and they all are reliable. Worth checking out.

S&W P99 in 40S&W. Best handgun I have ever held. Fits all of your criteria. Here is a source for used. No association with this company.

Kelemvor, I have had both the ruger p95 and a bersa 380. I liked both gun very well. Only reason I got rid of the bersa was to get a bersa 9mm. (the 380 was not ambidextrous) I looked at a 9mm bersa sat. that was and really like it. I'm left handed and like the way it's laid out. I was told that the mag release can be turned around too.

And Benelli is owned by who? Go ahead, look it up. The top of that particular corporate chain is Beretta. I wouldn't have said that Stoeger was owned by Beretta if I hadn't checked the chain of ownership first.
