new m&p45

just got a new m&p45 $480.00,thought that was a great price for a smith and Wesson,have not had a chance to go to the shooting range with it yet,just curious if any of you all have this handgun and what are your reviews about it,I have 2 colt's and i really like the feel of the m&p,the grips fit great on my hands,it is much lighter than my colts which i love dearly.

I have a M&P 45 that I have been using in IDPA for around a year now. I have somewhere around 3000 rounds through the M&P and seem to shoot it faster and more accurate each match that I run it in. I think you will be well served with the M&P 45 pistol.
