Dove hunting

Do we have any dove hunter here? I can't wait till opening day. I just need to find a good field to hunt.

I used to go all the time, but haven't been much in the last few years. I plan on going a couple of times this year when season opens.

There are fields out there, but finding a good field is the hard part. Too bad we dont have a place for a TGO dove hunt.

That would be nice, I have a place big enough for 15 to 20 people but I don't think my cousin would go for a lot of people hunting his field. I can ask but he will more than likely say no.

I used to Dove hunt quite a bit, but not so much the last few years. I've always enjoyed it, though, and need a good reason to buy a nice side by side 12 gauge .

I love to dove hunt! I have not gotten too in a few years as there is never a place to go, some of the local farmers used to have pay hunts and they were usually pretty good but they all stopped doing it because of all the idiots that would leave lots of trash in their fields.

It would be great if TGO had a hunt that I could make it to!

I couldn't afford $5 doves in the 70s. They'd cost me $10 each now.

I enjoy Dove hunting, but I go to Texas to hunt so I couldn't really help you much with the best places to shoot around here. I only know of a couple of fields and those owners use them for themselves and their invited guests.

Save up, go to Cordoba, Argentina. You will shoot more dove there in 3 days than you could in a lifetime in Tennessee.

I assume from your post that you have dove hunted in Argentina. I have seen hunting TV shows regarding dove hunting in Argentina, how do you keep-up with retrieving the downed birds? It seems the hunters are shooting as fast as they can without retrieving the birds from the field.
