Turkeys
Im wanting to photogrpah turkeys, and Im located in Chattanooga. can anyone recommend and locations? I will definitely not interefere with anyone's hunt, just wanting to take some wildlife photos.

hickory valley road, between 58 and bonnyoaks, (where the old ammo plant was) i see turkeys there alot along with deer, and this is a draw hunt only in the spring, so this area should be good and no one should be hunting it, fyi hc sheriff is near there so leave a note on windshield
spot 2 the chickamauga battle field is always a good spot for wildlife. don't speed there it is a fed ticket and you will have to go to rome ga,

Tims Ford wildlife refuge has thousands!
No hunting allowed, so they're really quite tame

Last summer a turkey lived in my back yard for about three months. He/she/it chased birds away from the bird bath and pretty much bullied them and the squirrels. But I haven't seen it since August. I guess it found it's way back to Four Corners by the Percy Priest lake...or was someone's dinner, although I don't think hunting is legal around here.

I have some land on Hwy 27, Suck Creek mountain area where my grandsons & I have kicked up several big toms. There are also some deer up there. No one, that I know of, has been up there for almost two years. My personal range is there. PM me if you want to go up & look. It's between Powell's Crossroads & the PC State Park.
