I'm a very, very sad person this evening

When the mail came today, there was bad news in an envelope from ATF. The Form 3 transferring ownership of the Auto-Ordnance M1A1 from me to On Target in Murfreesboro was approved. So, I had to take the little war hero to his new home. It was a sad parting. Lucky for me, part of the deal we made to get it registered for them was permission for me to come visit and spend time with the old vet whenever I want, and get to shoot him for free.

If any of you others find your way to On Target, and want to spend some time with a truly historic weapon, get out your wallet and rent the Tommy Gun. I assure you, you will love it and will walk away with a huge smile on your face.

Anyways, I'm going to go drown my sorrows in a few beers and try to get my blues to fly away amongst the smoke of a couple cigars.
