Springfield Armory SOCOM 16

First off thanks to Joe and the fellers at Hero Gear for hooking me up, I've been wanting this rifle for a long time, and finally took it home.

Got an EoTech on there for now, but may look at getting some sort of "Scout-type" scope, does anyone have any recommendations? Also might add a Vltor stock/rail assembly in the future. Anything else I need to know from the Scout rifle fans? Thanks guys!

I bought one of those and turned around and sold it shortly thereafter. I want another one

That's entirely too nice for you Hat! You need to send it to me ASAP before you poke your eye out with it!
Very good choice. If I had my druthers, I'd forget all about wanting an AR or AK and get the M1A Scout.

Have you shot it yet? I've been thinking of either the 18" Scout/ squad version or the original 21" rifle.

That is one bad mother SHUTYOMOUTH! PPLLEEAASSEE take a picture of the muzzle blast early in the morning for those of us less fortunate souls...

Thanks fellas! Haven't shot it yet Hex, so tomorrow will be the first time. I'll post a report after I test it out.
