Well went out today to try a new load at 200. After i got it all zeroed I proceeded to shoot an 11 shot group of 1.80" (end to end). I was pretty happy with the group as i was able to maintain less than 1 moa. Not to bad for a stock barrel.

This load was 44 grains of Varget shooting 168 SMK's out of LC Brass. The OAL is 2.80
" and the brass is 2.15" or less..LOL I am not loading to the point of being to anal. I just do not have the time. So some brass may weigh more that others or have a little less length then others. I imagine if I was doing everything identical it would be a little tighter. I'm pretty happy with the results at 200. When i can do this at 300 then 400 then 500, and so on and so forth i will be happy. Maybe a new barrel away and it will happen...LOL |
