    well they are making polymer revolvers, why not polymer pump action shotguns?

    if those are the choices, this.

    Between this and a 870Police is tough though.

    The 887 is nothing more than a cheap SuperNova clone. I handled one and they are poorly built. I would go with an 870. I think this their attempt to boost sales. A failed hunting gun usually sales when they shorten the barrel, add a mag ext, and write tactical after the model number.
