I believe their agenda is to place us under a Communistic/fascist form of government, and that government forced healthcare where they can fine you for not having Obamacare--is just another step along the road.

I'm British, so I have no problem with heckling in congress. I have a problem with the content of the heckling by a supposedly informed legislator. It's one thing when rubes at a town hall spout idiotic statements, but quite another when a congressman does it. 3. IF you read the bill, and look at it in the sunshine, you'll see that slothful1 is dead on, the part you quote is only about the affordability credits. Here's some "second hand" analysis for you.

“Nonresident alien” is a term under tax but not immigration law. For federal tax purposes, alien individuals are classified as resident or nonresident aliens. In general, an individual is a nonresident alien unless he or she meets the qualifications under a residency test. Thus, legal permanent residents, and noncitizens and unauthorized aliens who qualify as resident aliens (i.e., meet the substantial presence test), would be required under H.R. 3200 to have health insurance.

Which means they would automagically have access to the "public option", or taxpayer funded healthcare.

I don't expect you to care about analysis; and the obvious thinking of the liberals that this is a way to "back door" care for the illegals, who will then be registered to vote by ACORN to keep their man in power. The largest concentration of illegals is in the (surprise) same states that Obama needs to win to get another term.

5. By narrowing the scope of a 1400 page bill with a gazillion clauses in it to one statement on one page is to underestimate the snake oil salesmen (both parties) now in charge and their acumen for slipping one past the people when they have that much camo (words) in which to hide their true intent.

6. This whole discussion is mute when placed beside the US Constitution. Their is NO provision for this sort of thing, there is no provisions for the bailouts and take overs this government has and is continuing to carry out, and certainly no empowerment for the czars that are now arguably responsible for more actual "government" than the congress.

The truth is I care neither for the Dems or the Repubs, They are both only concerned with keeping themselves in power. I am for some sort of reform because too many taxpaying citizens cannot afford or obtain coverage. The republicans are pandering to the wealthy corporate machine, the Dems are wanting to give every mexican, or other minority of the week the whole store and screw the white guy. As far as illegals getting the free healthcare....Illegals will be covered, Obama says they won't. This has been proven repeatedly, and no more glaringly than the Democrats' refusal to put explicit language in the bill to require citizenship to receive health care.
" On July 30 of this year, a House committee voted against a Republican amendment offered by Rep. Nathan Deal that would have required health care providers to use the Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE) Program to prevent illegal aliens from receiving government health care services. All Republicans and five Democrats voted for it, but 29 Democrats voted against it, killing the amendment."

There are 47...err...30 million uninsured. Part lie, part misdirect. The 47->30 thing is because he sometimes includes illegals and sometimes doesn't. The 30 that don't include illegals do include people who can afford health coverage or have it offered by an employer and don't sign up for it, the people who are eligible for Medicare and don't sign up, which brings the number ~11 million.

How's that for "debating the proposals" or showing you the evidence of illegal immigrant coverage? As it is now, NO ONE can be turned away from a hospital E.R. that needs treatment....NO ONE. The illegals no this and that's exactly where they go when the need medical help. Then they skip on the bill and guess who gets to pay for it?

We are not going to solve the health care crisis UNTIL we solve illegal immigration.
