If the criminals are increasing and the number of LEO's is decreasing my money is on the criminals. Some school districts in Ohio no longer have any extracurricular activies
it is really becoming a wastelend all over the midwest

The community should arm themselves and get carry permits. I bet that would put a dent in the crime rate. It would surely discourage it!

After going to several of the cities there (Cincinnati, Dayton, Columbus, Cleveland) all seem to be in the same boat.

Sadly, this is not limited to Ohio only. All cities are cutting back on education, police, fire, sanitation, etc. We have been asking our local cities and towns to do more, and more and more (in many cases needlessly) while limiting their tax revenues.

Government to cure our ills and fills our wants, takes our $, or has too little to do the key jobs. Just that simple. So, those towns and cities need to cut the fat, and the citizens should take responsibility to cure their own ills and fill their own needs...

But, that is too logical...
