Fox News was reporting the Major was using two handguns. No mention of rifles. Don't know about the other two shooters.

Now some former general is saying the Pentagon reported this wasn't a random kind of shooting, that the Major shot his victims in a very precise and calm manner.

Why does that name not surprise me?

Not to make assumptions, but if you research the names and background of the past fratricide cases for the Army, they all have something in common...

A law enforcement official identified the shooting suspect as Army Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan. The official said Hasan, believed to be in his late 30s, was killed after opening fire at the base. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the case publicly.
The official says investigators are trying to determine if Hasan was his birth name, or if he changed his name and converted to Islam at some point in his life.

Crap. When will they allow carrying firearms on post. Sounds like haji was standing there choosing his targets like what happened at Lubys.

Heck, even the security folks at the VA clinic I go to are not armed.

Looks like an attack that slipped through Holders' so called net. I'm afraid this might not be the last attack. They tried at Fort Dix, and were found out.

Well, no telling if his name means anything just yet. Although as some one mentioned...

This is either going to be blamed on that or multiple deployments of our troops. Of course they will throw guns into the mix too.

I'm not at all surprised something like this has happened, but I am a little surprised someone ranked as high as a Major would do something like this.

That was my thoughts as well on the Major portion anyway.

And yet the President says they are all peace loving and not like the "radicals". Of course, we are just assuming he is of that religion.
