I dunno, the technology they're apparently developing would allow much smaller packages while retaining relatively high yield. Lots of ships leave Iran all the time.

If you were going to attack the US with nuclear weapons, would you do it under someone like Bush or someone like Obama?

I should clarify - I dont see a great threat from a BALLISTIC nuke attack coming from Iran. Suitcase nuke or something of the like, maybe.

If Iran nukes Israel, what happens? Does the US then nuke Iran, or does bho issue a "very sad" statement?

If Israel preempts the Iranian nuke program with conventional weapons, what happens? Probably a conventional war between the 2 with Hamas, hizbulla****, and every other goat humper nibbling at Israels flanks. Does the US help? Or send a sternly worded message to Israel?

If Israel preempts with a nuclear device; then I'd say about every arab country in the world would go after them. But maybe not. Maybe, just maybe, the arab states would "get it" and leave Israel the hell alone for a while. Oh yeah, lots of big talk, but I have my reservations that the arab countries would actually commit to a big fight with the jews, KNOWING they have nukes and KNOWING they will use them if you push them too far.

The US admin waffling and being MIA (good term, btw) means that if all the arab countries do go after Israel, the US is going to talk peace and that's about all the help they will give the jews.

If I were running Israel, I'd be thinking I'm on my own, and if Iran gets a bomb, they WILL use it on us, so I'll use one on them and hope the rest of the arab states talk a lot and do little.

I don't think Russia will nuke Israel, because that would, I believe, get the US involved in a serious exchange of weapons technology. The would support and supply all of Israels enemies, but a nuclear attack on the jews will not originate from russia. It is possible that russia might give Syria, or perhaps Egypt, a bomb to use on Israel, but those leaders have to know that Israel has more than one warhead and they would have to virtually turn all of Israel into a blue smoking hole to avoid a counterstrike against themselves.

This all sounds like a circular argument, but personally, I think the best choice for the jews, if they can't get boots on the ground and take out the key players covertly, is to nuke the two facilities they know about and call up their reserves.

This doesn't take into account PRK, pakistan, and india, all of which are exporting weapons technology and two of which are close to a shooting contest, anyway....

I think it all a bunch of boogie man hysteria, If Iran had nukes they wont be dumb enough to use them, knowing they would be flat glass. I don't know why people are worried about something that is not there, while ignoring the actual problem. Pakistan has nukes and they are about the most unstable government with lots of corruption, if we are to aim our worries at somewhere with nukes, it is Pakistan.

I always thought Iran would wait until it had several nuke on hand before it did any testing. Once they test, everyone will know about it. If I were them, I'd test one out and say there's more where that came from. Maybe even have one ready to go, near Israel.

the "legality" is relative in your example. Whats illegal to one is legal to another.

Wrong, Illegal/Legal is what is set by world body, and basic human concepts of right and wrong.For Example, It is Illegal for me to just go and kill some random person. No matter how I may spin it, it is still Illegal and worng.
