  1. I run a g-code incog iwb now. My holster has to be iwb no way around it with my shirt issues i posted about earlier.
  2. Interesting will have to check out how that works on youtube later.
  3. Well im a tall guy at 6'6" so finding shirt long enough untucked to conceal stuff is a chore and big & tall shirts are just too damn long. The horizontal owb pouches make sense though may look into them. Would definately be more comfortable. Off topic but how do you like the phantom? If i make it to the truck in a gun fight ####s about to Level Up lol
  4. I like that and price isnt too bad. How much of the mag sticks out that you can grab on when you pull the flap?
  5. I carry strong side at 4/5 o clock so wanting something to wear on my weak side. If i was carry appendix i would definitely run the gun holster/mag combos.
  6. Thats pretty slick idea man i just dont want anything hanging on the outside of my belt.
  7. Who all carries a spare pistol mag IWB and how well does it work for you? What brand and style pouch are you using? Im contemplating picking up a dedicated pouch for a pistol mag instead of having one stashed in my cargo pocket. Im sure OWB is more comfortable but all i have seen sit to low on the belt line.
  8. A right handed ankle holster will be for the inside of your left leg. Its a bit different at first but i have never banged my ankle gun on anything. You will be constantly looking at your ankle for about a week while wearing it though. But keep in mind no one looks at your ankles so a small bulge is not noticeable to anyone. I would like to persuade you to consider a different back up gun though. Considering your primary gun is a glock 17 you should carry a bug in a glock 26. Same exact operation and will take the spare glock 17 mags. This is my exact setup. G17 carried IWB at 4/5 o clock and a g26 in a gaclo ankle glove. My ankle gun is a backup to me and a way i can arm someone else(family, friends, stranger) if i have the need in a active shooter situation.
  9. Your rear sight is the 24/7 with tritium insert correct? How well is it view able in daylight? I noticed it hardly has any of the white line like the non tritium rear sight has. More of a thin outline around the tritium tube.
  10. Yeah i lived in bartlett for a year and worked off of prescott and lamar ( orange mound area). The locals didnt know how to react to a muscle bound redneck wearing camo in their hood
  11. If you home the bolt on an empty non ejected case and its not extracting manually its one of two things really. Extractor issues or a tight chamber. If it was a tight chamber you would probably have a mark on the rim of the casing from the extractor. But if you have been trying to troubleshoot it alot and not paying attention to the casing your extractor could already be damaged. I would pull and inspect it closely. Pull one from a good rifle if your not sure what to look for. What brand bolt are you using? Also what buffer spring/ buffer are you using? Is the spring used by chance?
  12. http://www.originalsoegear.com/ Cant help you with the popups though that is on your end. Your spending too much time with rosemary and her sisters probably
  13. I personally run magpul on all my rifles because they are reliable and easy to deploy. Can usually find them in a pair front and rear in the $80 range if you do some good searching. If this is going to be a irons only gun i would look into a fixed front sight and a rear carry handle style sight. Now if your just a cheap then look into some good airsoft sights like utg. They will work but nothing i would stake my life on in the situation i needed them.
