CIS Advanced Concealed Carry 9-20-09
I am more of a reader than a poster here at TGO, but have to comment on the Advanced Concealed Carry course I took today from CIS.
What a GREAT TIME! Very informative and I feel that I learned a lot. Todd and Dustin are excellent instructors. Super nice and knowledgeable guys. They took us through a variety of drills and scenarios with a strong emphasis on safe gun handling. They will teach/help you get it right, then better. I would highly recommend this course from CIS to anyone interested in training beyond the basic HCP class. I plan on taking their 2 day Defensive Pistol class in the future. I will be practicing the techniques learned today in the mean time. Just a first class operation. Big thanks to you both! |

Safety and Instruction.
Rivrz, I can vouch for all of that as well, I attended also.
It may have looked odd to some that I had to keep putting my hands down my pants, so Todd had to keep reminding everyone I wasn't getting friendly, I was just packing heat in Thunderwear. Seriously, the instruction gave me confidence to utilize why all of us got a HCP, to use it if we had to in situations we don't get to choose. Especially against a Crack Ho or a Speedball Trucker! |
