Thanks for the heads up on the ccw vs hcp and my deepest to the offended, and as far as our set back last eve, thinking of just being a jerk, and protesting in my own sick way, i just need to get a hold of a 100lb of helium i have a 400yd tube of plastic sheathing that i could paint a big sign and inflate and paint a big sign, might paint it pink like a giant penis and put the mayors name on it, or just a criminals welcome and a big arrow pointing down, bend it into a middle finger like a clowns balloon animals, and float it out of the back of my truck at camp Jordan??? may be a genius book of world records still thinking..... and looking for Helium , and other ideas welcome.....may just make it look like a huge condom, and when the media arrives tell them that is the only protection we now have in parks......

east ridge sucks. im glad all the parks near my location are owned by Red Bank.

I love how that one guy says that he feels that only the cops should be allowed to have handguns. the woman that shot her mouth off was with him. They said that right after they gave their address. I gave mine, anyone listening to that knows that I have a gun, know how to use it, and will use it if necessary. this = might not want to break in to that address...their's on the other hand, says "Hey, look at me, I am a target!!! I only feel that the cops should have guns, nope, won't find any opposition here...take my stuff!!!"

i hate to quot a member of the A-team, "but i pity the fool" that attempts to take from me, nice little sticker on the door ,"trespassers found here at night will be found here in the morning."

i think we should petition that citizens of East Ridge that don't believe in firearms or the right to defend them selves, should have a sign posted in there yard. and see how long till they change there minds. as far as saving someones life we could always ask if they want us to call wait on the police first. give an option????

if i am not mistaken, the only ordinance read of regarding guns in parks were hand guns, nothing was said about long guns,compressed air pistols, archery, knives, or other deadly weapons, still looking for exact ordinances, may have to meet with city mgr, or clerks office and have them pull up the law word for word, and make copies.

Well, you already can't carry a long gun (loaded), and I don't think they can override state knife law.

The governor signed HB 390 that allows you to carry a loaded rifle or shotgun in YOUR personal, leased or rented by you car (loaded magazine but not one in the chamber) (however is you need it in a self defense situation (admendment 3) is is legal to do so but not until then).

AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 39,
Chapter 17, relative to the right’s of handgun carry
permit holders.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 39-17-1308(a), is amended by adding
the following new appropriately designated subdivision:
( ) Of a loaded rifle or a loaded shotgun as defined in § 39-17-1301, or of a
loaded magazine or clip therefore while being transported in a motor vehicle by a person
authorized to carry a handgun pursuant to § 39-17-1351.
SECTION 2. This act shall take effect July 1, 2009, the public welfare requiring it.
