Regarding the anti-Law Enforcement / Cop Bashing as of late

Folks, I really don't know why there are so many pro-2A people who are vocally anti-Law Enforcement but it's a ridiculous prejudice that simply will not be tolerated on TGO.

Are there bad police officers who get off on authority? YES. But there are also bad doctors, bad lawyers, Priests with a fondness for altar boys, and scum in literally every other line of work also.

Painting professionals with such broad strokes because of the few bad apples is pathetic and narrow minded. We are fortunate to have a lot of really GOOD law enforcement officers as members here on TGO and allowing this sort of senseless bashing of anyone with a badge to continue is a horrible discredit to them.

My stance on hotly opinionated issues is the same as always: If you want to attack the issues, attack the facts. Leave personal biases out of it.

From this point forward, threads that serve only to malign Law Enforcement in general will be treated the same as threads created to malign an individual member of TGO. The same moderator actions will be put into play.

Cliffs Notes: Not all cops are bad. There are a lot of good ones. We have some here on TGO. They aren't going to stand up for themselves because they choose to be quiet professionals. I don't have any such moral objections, so I'm telling those of you who are guilty of constantly bashing them to cut it out or else.
