Just under 4 weeks. Is there a place that explains the record keeping requirements? I have read that you can print the pages and create your own bound book. Does anyone know if that is correct?

Brownells sells them @ $3.00 each. Part number: 108-006-000AE. Send them a copy of your FFL for dealer pricing, Midway also. Do not sign the original. Make copies. Hope your wallet holds up....Dave.

What Dave said...only I made 1 copy of mine, signed it, and scanned it as a .pdf . That has come in very handy - I haven't even bought a C&R firearm under my FFL, but it has saved me a ton of money with Brownell's and Midway.

shoot me an e mail and I will send you a pdf of a bound book page,Then you can print all you want.
I scanned my FFL and then printed one copy and signed it in Blue ink. then I scaned it as well so now I can just print as many signed copies as I need.

Yep I just printed out a PDF page I downloaded from somewhere and I use that. Most places I've read say that's okay. It's just a C&R license. They're not gonna through you in jail if they don't like your bound book.

They may not throw you in jail but I for one am not going to do anything that is going to give an ATF agent a reason to question anything or look a little deeper than he ordinarily might.Yep I just printed out a PDF page I downloaded from somewhere and I use that. Look deeper into what? You buy the guns, you log them in. You sell them, you log them out. That's about as deep as the C&R License gets. I really doubt the ATF agent will care if your logbook is a three ring binder and not one of the fancy ones bought off the internet. You can do as you wish, but I know I'm not the only one who uses a three ring binder with pages printed off.

Mine is not a fancy one. I just bought a spiral notebook and use that.
