H & D Folsom double barrel shotgun

Recommended Posts

I recently became aware of these old shotguns and I would certainly like to find one to hang over my fireplace.  What I know so far is that Folsom Arms was a hardware store supplier who purchased Crescent Firearms Company in New York.  They marketed single and double barrel shotguns under dozens of trade names but did mark some with Folsom Arms Co.  I have been looking for a while and have seen a few under those other trade names but really am only interested in Folsom Arms for personal reasons.

I have one of these. H&D Folsom Arms Co. stamped on it. It's a double barrel shotgun with flintlock style hammers (one on each side). Based on my research it was made between 1888-1899. If you want it contact me at bkossack@cleardataint.com. I can send pics
