Looks like Magpul will be moving

Recommended Posts

I lived there from 1980 to 1996 and my parents are still there.

When I moved in 96 the Californicaterswere already exerting influence.

I used to want to move back, but now not so sure.

Looks like we are loosing the country piece by piece

I keep reading comments on their Facebook posts from pro-freedom Colorado residents who feel "helpless" and ignored by the elected representatives, stating that they try to call their reps and are told that they can't leave messages, or email and fax and received canned responses thanking them for their concern.  There, like most places, the people are being ignored and the politicrats are doing exactly whatever the hell they want to do and continue down the road of passing laws that people don't want.

So my question is... what does that leave?  When the vermin that infect our government systems refuse to do the bidding of the people who elected them and put them there, what now?  Sure you can vote them out of office at the end of their term, but how much damage can they do in the meantime?  Once freedoms are stripped away it's almost impossible to restore them.

I hate to be that guy, but I'm seriosuly starting to wonder when folks are going to hit their limit and start voting with deeds instead of words.  There are already posts on Magpul's FB page from people who say they are 5th (and longer) generation Coloradans who refuse to tuck their tails and flee to another state but desire to stand and fight for their freedoms.  Things really could get interesting within our generation.

I believe this gentleman goes right ahead and confirms your point here.

The real problem is going to be the lack of people that even care about freedoms in the elections. Many Republicans were either LAZY in the fall elections, or just plain dumb for not putting Obama out of office. I wasn't thrilled about Romney, but hey. I wanted Obama out at all costs, and maybe regrouping in 2016. But many Conservative voters stayed home rather than vote for Romney. I heard several I know say so. And that's just in my small circle of friends.

The Liberals have a dream and that dream is Marxist Socialism. To get there, all they have to do is get the majority of Americans dependent on Uncle Sam for their needs, get them fired up and then get them to the voting booth, in buses if necessary (sound familiar?). They did an excellent job of it too. They use mental manipulation on the campaign trail by using vague terms in promise after promise, lie after lie, that each person can shape into their own idea of what was said or promised. Take the "Hope and Change" slogan and the "Forward" slogans. These are words that allows each person to conjure up their own images suited to their needs and in each persons mind without any support or explanation by the administration. The Liberal plan is to produce a citizen that is dependent on the government for everything they want or need and do it in huge numbers. They fight against the Constitution by ridiculing and painting anyone that holds it in high esteem as outside the norm and backward ("holding on to their guns and Bibles"). The REAL problem is, the entire political scale has slid to the left. Even the Republicans are moving left. Most of those in the House are more afraid of loosing their cushy jobs and taking the easy road, than doing what they were sent there to do. They are caving in. Our own Bob Corker is a prime example. He was having dinner with Obama, as were 11 or 12 other WEAK Conservative Senators, while Rand Paul was filibustering John Brennan's nomination and doing his job as best he could.

I believe the mid term elections will decide the future of our country. The Liberals are fired up. They feel they they are on the home stretch and way in the lead. To them, this is their time of history and on the verge of taking over the country and they are going to bring it on. Hell, they ALREADY ARE.!! Obama and the Liberals know that the mid terms are the most important elections in our history.

I just hope Conservative America wakes up and smells the coffee between now and then!

Oh...I sure do hope Magpull sticks to their "mags" on this one.......(got to stick to the thread topic)

I'm with ya. I can't even begin to comprehend how pissed I would be if my state Senator went on National TV and announced he had no intentions of reading my letters or listening to my side of the debate.

Well, ask Madam Speaker why she would not allow debate on SJR2 (election of judges).  They are not listening to anything that the People have to say, only that which is best (in their opinion) for the Republican caucus.  Every one of them thinks only of partisanship and the advancement of their power.  Duty and obligation to their constituents is a thing of the past, it died with the penny post card evidently...

Looks like it has to be voted on again. Only needs one person to change their vote to fail.

Seems it has to go back to House for another vote, after the shotgun amendment.

Looked it up and the House seems to have voted 34-31 first time around.

Colorado Citizens have already started recall petitions for a number of their State Representatives.  I could see this becoming another Wisconsin situation

BTW, can there be immigration policy on Californians moving into our state?  I sure don't want to see Tennessee go the way California!!!

I keep waiting to read a headline one day that says, "$hit just got real folks" reporting on a modern day Waco or Ruby Ridge or some type of attempted conviscation of someone's "arsenal". Not saying I'm looking forward to it but all it takes sometimes is one spark. And the tinder is getting pretty dry from the looks of things.

It will happen and gun owners will not benefit from it.

Davey Crockett traveled to Texas to help his brothers defend Texas.  He died in this fight.

At what point do we travel to a neighboring state?  Does the Tree of Liberty require water?  If not us, then who?

These so-called leaders speak . . .

Hey now, that's how I got here! Maybe have inspection checkpoints for immigrants from Liberal states.

"Must have at least 1 AR with a 30 rd magazine to enter TN!"

Seriously though, my wife is adamant about keeping the awesomeness of this state a secret from CA. I agree that keeping most Californians out of TN is a great idea.

Seems they've already found us ... we have whole foods, the contributor, a new convention center we arguably didn't need (and unarguably can't afford), and a Hollywood TV show about Nashville. The libs are here and sadly,
I fear, more are on the way. The CA bunch seems to have got Nashville. The Detroit bunch got Memphis. Who's calling dibs on Chatt or Knoxville?!?

I don't think this will work out in his favor. People are not so stupid to not realize their leaders are probably not reading mail about any of the other concerns of the people.

I'm afraid you have more faith in humanity than I do. I seem to remember the people re-electing Obama. That pretty much sealed my opinion of the masses.
