Bill HB 1407 Park Carry?

Recommended Posts

Discussed quite a bit here. Placed "behind the budget" by Ways and Means Committee.

which usually means they won't fund it, so that it gets out of committee.  Of course writing it so that there was a fiscal note on it at all seems obvious to me that the fix was in to derail it from the gitgo since as I understand it the Senate counterpart did not.

As I understand the timing, Haslam has submitted new budget, so theoretically, they could "find" the money. Of course, looks like we're gonna insure that every high school graduate in the state gets two free years of junior college or some such, so I doubt if a gun bill will be in the running for any expenditure.

it looks like it will die in the committee, it's the only piece of legislation i was interested in since my local tyrants won't give us our freedom i have to drive a whole frikin county over to take my son to a park to let him play and be able to protect him.

Get different local tyrants.

i'd love to but johnson city allows college students that don't permanantly reside here to vote in it's elections so there is a liberal stranglehold on our comission and it likely won't ever change.
