Raven 25 - the ultimate CCW

Recommended Posts

I wonder what caused the gun to jam....a dingleberry?

Haa, actually because it's a Raven .25. That was the 2nd handgun I ever owned, cost a wopping $60 in 83, bought it from Freidmans. If they don't jam then there's something wrong with it.

Interesting story I remember. Anyone else remember Ellie Nesler? Back in 1990, she snuck a Raven .25 into a court room in California and shot her sons rapist in the head point blank 5 times. I think she got 3 years. What amazed me is that she shot all 5 rounds without the little popper jamming.

I have have a "broken" Raven .25 I bought for $30 several years ago. "Broken" in that I never had a problem with it jamming. I only bought it cause it was a gun for $30. And quoting an old friend "I'd pay $30 to watch a monkey "do it." Lol

I got one free for joining a indoor range 20 years ago. I still have it.

It's a novelty now. I wouldn't trust it in a pinch. Still have the original box and spare magazine.

They offered 2 different ones. One that was blued with wood grips,

I got the chrome with genuine imitation plastic pearl grips.

(I was styling then).
