MCTS Outlaw Steel 07-27-14

Recommended Posts

Trying a new format with this one. Three big stages that we will shoot twice. Once through for time and then again with a par time.

Par time will be the fastest run for each stage the first time through knocked down to the whole second--minus another second. So first run on a stage of 14.20 seconds will turn into a par time of 13 seconds.

I will score each as a separate match.

Round count total of around 170. But it is steel so bring extra.

Stages will be out shortly. Edited by Mechanic_X

Newbie here - what time do you guys start and how long do the matches normally run? Just back in town and forgot to give my wife the heads up about this so we have some commitments in the afternoon.

Thanks, Mechanic. Planning on making it out there Sunday early enough to assist with the set up so I'll have plenty of opportunity to badger you guys with questions. See you there.

USPSA style rules on equipment and divisions.

Be safe and shoot in the box are about it as far as rules go. One stage has two poppers painted red that must fall first.

Steel matches really test your shooting. Especially trigger control. It forces you into making good shots.

Hopefully you get a "bang" and a "clang" every shot.
