Beretta Moving ENTIRE Operation to Tennessee

Recommended Posts

While we have known for some time that Beretta is opening up a new factory in Gallatin to complement their Maryland operation today it was announced that ALL manufacturing is moving to Tennessee.

That's huge.

Hell yea... Even though i'm sure the liberals in Maryland don't care, probably see it as a victory for them. They don't care about the people who will loose their job, just their political anti-gun agenda. That's what gets me is that some dolts still believe the democrats and liberals stand up for the little guy BS.

That's okay, Tennessee will gladly have them and those good employees who wish to move here and escape socialism. There will be plenty of new jobs for Tennesseans also.

Just came in to post this.

Huge news... I'm hoping for factory tours and an outlet store!

Who knows, maybe they will let us buy parts direct? I wouldnt mind five or six blemished mags. Or a few other parts .

Great new for the State. I'm sure a lot the initial 300 jobs will be taken by employees who will come with the company, but there will still be many for us. And the support businesses will thrive also.

All in all, some of the best news for us in months.

I'm just surprised it took so long, as a former MD resident I don't know why anyone would operate a business in that state let alone a firearms business. Beretta had a nice shotgun range in Greenbelt that they gave to the county.

I escaped MD for the same reasons, so greatful to live in TN.

Well, already own two Berettas, no harm to buy more.  I would like to have one that has Tennessee stamped on the side.  Good move Beretta.

Pssst....Sig, you need to catch up and build a factory between Knoxville and Chattanooga!

Saw this earlier today!
Fantastic news! I was pretty stoked when they announced the new facility back in Jan of this year.
Double excited now that they are moving their entire operation here.

Glad to welcome anyone who  believes in the constitution and individual rights moving to Tennessee.

It was 300 job openings before they were moving the entire operation. I would not be surprised to see that number grow quite a bit since they are moving the entire operation here instead of just part of it..............jmho

Probably many are relocating to get out of that liberal rat's nest of a state.

there will probably be some but I would guess most people are locked in a mortgage that would make it hard for them to just up and leave to follow job. I'm sure there will be some that either rent of have a family member that can stay and sell the house but having a house mortgage in two states could be tough..............jmho. The state of New York has lost so much industry that they have began offering a ZERO TAX for 10 Years program to try and attract business to New York State. no sales tax, business tax or property taxes for 10 years. Now knowing New York as I do since I know a lot of folks that have moved from there I hope every company that looks at that deal reads all that really extra very small print that is going to be hid in that contract somewhere.............jmho
