American Journal of Medicine: Higher gun ownership equals higher gun violence

Recommended Posts

I wonder if the charts were put up on how many people died by guns verses how many people died by botched surgeries or bad diagnosis and giving people wrong medications which killed the patients. Which charts would be higher in numbers?.........jmho

So higher numbers of guns yield higher numbers of gun related deaths. I also believe the more number of vehicles will increase the number of vehicular related deaths.

You can makes numbers work in your favor every time.

Yep! Yet another statistic that they like to ignore.

Why doesn't the  AMA give the number of injuries and deaths due to cell phone use while driving?  I'd guess the number of people injured while having cell phones stolen would be high as well.  The AMA is able to bury their mistakes.

A physician hires a laborer to clean his front yard during the day.  When he returns from his shift, the laborer says he is done and asks for his pay,  The physician looks at the results of the clean-up and says, "There is still dirt on the sidewalk and gravel all over the paved driveway.  In my estimation, it's a poor job."  The laborer retorts, "Well, doc, there's many a poor job of yours covered with dirt and gravel too."  The physician paid up.

I apologize for the off-topic response, but I couldn't resist....
