On the way to go shoot, I bought 2 new boxes to replace what was in my mags.
Found out that the bad lot shipped in June / July, so I'm good.

Just out of curiosity, I decided to weigh the old and new rounds. All of my old rounds weighed in at 198.8-199.8 grains. All of the new rounds I just bought weighed in around 195.5 - 196.3 grains.

I've never weighed loaded bullets that were not reloads before. Is this a normal variance between ammunition lots?

I work in manufacturing, I wonder how this spillage made it out.  Hmmm?  Another human oops!  And we humans want to bring ebola to the U.S.

Human ignorance and stupidity is increasing at an increasing rate.  Literally, there is not a day that goes by that another example is not presented.  Idiocracy is the new reality.....far sooner than predicted.

If there's people involved, it's bound to be imperfect. In very high volume manufacturing there tend to be no small mistakes.
