Personally, I prefer the fiberglass mounts. You simply weigh the fish, measure length and girth and turn the fish loose. Then you send in the info and get a perfect beautiful fiberglass replica that will last far longer than taxidermy mounts. It sounds like you're already past that stage though. You may ask at Sportsmans in Brainerd. Seems like I've seen a few taxidermy ads at their entrance.

I think that it is just your average croppy. The sad thing is I doubt they will ever take him fishing again so maybe they should mount it. His normal day consist of going to school, going shopping with his mom, and then probably spending the rest of the day in his room. It's kind of sad, his mom won't hardly let him out of her sight.
