WOW! I bet that was a booger to keep in a straight line run!

I dont know if it was the same guy, but somebody did a build, and documented it online with pics, called it the civette. Evidently the 97-04corvette and the 99-00ish civic have the same wheelbase, so he just dropped the civic body on the vette chassis, so he had corvette engine transmission suspension everything but looked like a civic.

Did find some references and videos of the civette. If the same one, 528hp/600ftlbs torque.

And yes it looks on video like a brutal ride to control.

And I did get sidetracked for about 40 minutes watching all kinds of car vids.

If he crammed an LS series engine in the civic, that's not at all surprising.

The videos I watched had the vehicle running pretty strong on some quarter mile tracks and on the open road.

when I saw it, it was back in like 06 or 07 before I lost my 95 Mitsubishi galant to a broken timing belt :( I still miss that car Edited by luke9511

Ouch, That sounds like a bunch of bent valves since the Mitsubishi has interference cylinder heads and valves. It can be an expensive repair if you don't know what your doing. Sorry you lost your Galant. They are or were good cars.
