Keeping an eye on the weather.  Things are looking promising compared to a couple of days ago.

For us newbies, do we need belt accessories to hold rifle mags and shot shells?

They do help but not necessary. It has been approx 2 years since we did our last 3gun event so this is strictly a trial run to see if we can fit in our schedule on a monthly basis. We truly hope to be able to provide ALL avenues for our members and guests.

Hope to see everyone there.

New Shooter briefing at 8:30am, shooters meeting at 8:45am, first shots down range at 9am. $25 match fee for non-members, $15 for members. Parking for non-members is in the field approx 100 yds before you get to the shooting bays (follow signage). Ammunition and ammo carriers (mags) can be stowed anyway you wish, but cannot be held in hand while running a course of fire. Mag pouches, leg rigs, dump pouches, shotshell bandoliers, pants pockets, etc. = all acceptable. Side saddles for shotshells, whether they be permanently attached or elastic sleeve type, are perfectly acceptable (and personally recommended). For those new to 3 gun, just bring what you have and don't worry about your gear. There will be other shooters there that can help you by making recommendations and explaining their gear, if you think this is something you would like to get more involved in. The main things are to be safe and have fun! Looking forward to seeing you all Saturday morning.

Sweet guys ill be there!!! Ive shot alot of IDPA but this will be my first 3 gun match. Very excited.

I had to run and buy some slugs for my mossberg 590.

Are there any restrictions on lights on your gun for either the AR, Shotgun, or pistol?

My AR has a surefire on it and my best pistol holster is for a glock19 with a light.

Also can I view the stages before hand? The OP said something about seeing them and reviewing the round count. The match is not listed on the website.

There are no restrictions on weapon mounted lights, so you will be fine with the set up you've described. Sorry about the stages not being posted on the MCTS sight. They are posted and can be downloaded at https://www.facebook.com/groups/541588442601991/, scroll down until you see 3GunStages 112214.pdf
