Question on complete upper

Recommended Posts

Recently picked up a Spikes lower that I plan to build up, but am looking at just getting a completed upper instead of assembling here and there.  Found an Aero URG and wanted opinions.  I planned to purchase the BCG and charging handle separately also.  Link is below and price didn't seem too far out of whack.  Thanks for the advice/input...

The link is out of stock...i got my wife getting the 14.5 version. I will get a muzzle brake pinned to the barrel to make it legal for the suppressor I currently have in jail...

Not trying to nitpick but the muzzle brake pinned and at least 1.5 inches long would make it legal for a rifle, suppressor has nothing to do with it.

that's kinda what i meant...getting the muzzle brake that is compatible with the suppressor that I have in jail pinned so that it is legal non nfa stuff...sorry, I am notorious for not properly articulating my thoughts....

Huh? Where did you see this? I havent found any info stating the upper and lowers are proprietary and must be matched...the only non standard parts I see on this upper are the barrel nut/handguard mounting interface...

I've never seen a proprietary lower that uses different parts except say Colt on the older models with the different sized trigger pins and front takedown being that weird screw and the ambi lowers for their specialty parts that make them ambi but those use the same takedown mounts from everything I've seen.
