Cynthia Harcourt, a lawyer for the juvenile officer of St. Louis County Family Court, said after the hearing that she could neither confirm nor deny the existence of a juvenile record for Mr. Brown. Missouri state law prohibits the records of most juvenile court proceedings from being released to the public. But she said Mr. Brown had no juvenile cases involving serious felony charges or convictions, including murder, robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Those felony records would not be required to be confidential and would have been released, but none exist for Mr. Brown, Ms. Harcourt said.

So we know he wasn’t arrested for murder or robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. Glad to see that’s their standard for no serious convictions.

But I watched a video of him committing robbery and assault. I’m convinced he was a thug and not an altar boy. He tried to commit murder but his victim killed him. Edited by DaveTN

No matter the media spin and the baloney; or discussion over past sins public and hidden; Michael Brown decided to whip a cop as a follow-up to strong arming a store clerk over a bunch of cigars...

That's thuggish behavior by anybody's yardstick of behavior; and I figure that aint the first time he used his strength and size as tools for intimidation

It turns out that was a bad decision... Serious trouble ensued...

Michael Brown should have not made that life changing decision...  I can have some sympathy with his parents, who i believe turned a blind eye to bad behavior; but I've got no sympathy for Brown... I'm also sorry that Darren Wilson had to do what he had to do as well...

Michael Brown reaped the whirlwind.... let it be...

Attacking anyone, especially an officer of the law, might get you killed.

Thats common knowledge even to overgrown man children.

Even if he never had a record I am willing to bet because of his size he got his way.

I know that sounds odd but I graduated with three overgrown giants. 2 went on to play college football until it was discovered neither could read. The third is in prison now.The point ? All three were skating through life based on their size and not their academics.

Just look at interviews given by athletes. Some of them have a hard time linking sentences.

And just so this isn't viewed as racist, my fellow graduates were all white and all three were upper class.much better off financially than I was.

It doesn't matter who you are or what skin color you have, you attack an LEO, then run, then turn around and rush him, you are gonna have a bad day and it just might be your last bad day as it was for MB.  It's pretty obvious he had a bad attitude and a bad temper he could not control and it got him killed.

Size doesn't matter...Actions do.

Young Mr. Brown, by his actions showed his nature. Video showed his actions and his nature.

Was this an isolated incident? Possibly. But the gang logos on his clothing would seem to give a question or two to that "gentle giant" nature.

I think Leroy summed it well.

St. Ann is another one of those St. Louis County municipalities. Different "town", probably 5 miles center to center from Ferguson. Can't tell you are going from one to the other, unless to see the little sign.

Do you have proof of and any convictions on those charges?

How many arrests do you have, versus convictions?

How many arrests do any of us have, versus convictions?

One is one too many . . . it demonstrates that something in your conduct is seriously out of whack.

Now that he's dead, his juvenile record can be unsealed. I'd sure like to see what surprises that document contains. . . .

I'd also like to see a timeline, biographies and criminal records on his mumma's lovers. Wheel of Fortune . . . a circle of sperm donors and miscreants who keep circling around for a little honey and a cut of the welfare checks. She's a real piece of work, so they're probably all real treasures. . .

Exactly!

I have debated this before with people and the easiest way to show how an action matters more than anything else, is to take a small spoon and lunge at your dog like you want to attack it.  Then take a knife and call your dog over as if you want to play.

That will tell you everything you need to know.

Does his history really matter at this point? It's not like the media will be broadcasting it or that any one of the protestors will believe it.

Anyone with a bit of common sense can realize the officers actions were justified. Crap like this happens to punks everyday, the media and liberals choose this incident to further their agenda for this administration.

It's happened too many times in the past, one crisis after another, one lie after another. Does nothing more that anger and divide. It's in the handbook of the Communist Rules for Revolution.

That was only said to calm the natives. Didn't they do the same with Zimmerman?

Whatever,.. with all the evidence revealed already and the court didn't charge Wilson with anything how likely is that this will go very far?

Maybe I'm wrong but I suspect another crisis will pop up and divert our attention elsewhere, like an executive order on gun control, reparations for the protestors or something.

If the libs can't win they will pay off someone to shut up just like they paid some to keep it on the surface.

And the reason they didn't want to pursue the TM case is because they didn't want the history of the 'little angel' to be made public.

I believe this will be a similar circumstance.

Wat I find to be the most unfortunate is even though these men were carried through college and given the opportunity to play Pro Football with multi million dollar contracts and when their careers are over so many of them are as broke as the day they left college. Then their are some that throw their careers away while still playing because they think because of who they are they are above the law. It's just a shame..................jmho

Facts or educated speculation doesn't matter when dealing with those who want to burn buildings, and loot stores because someone they didn't know, lost a battle they chose.
Those charges are just an example of how someone threw everything they could at him as whatever he did was pretty bad. If half the charges stuck, maybe justice would have been served. No one has posted the disposition of those charges so they don't mean anything w all respect to the op.

If I'm not mistaken, did I not hear that there was a bullet hole in wilsons patrol vehicle's roof?
That evidence from a struggle, if it exists, should be enough to send every window breaker and arsonist home to figure out another way to work the system.

If the kid was flying gang colors, from a known documented gang, that's affiliated w persistent violence against le.that would be enough to put any cop on edge, or instill eminent fear w close proximity contact.

Of course the media won't release info on a prior arrest because their story loses emotional value.

I wish the media would report fact instead of flack these days. No wonder the guys downrange didn't want em around at all because of their bs tactics.
