Grips for a CZ

Looking for opinions again. I just got a CZ 75D PCR and want to put a set of VZ's on it. Most all my other G10 grips are gray and black but I'd like something different on this one. I've narrowed it down to the Frags in either Hyena Brown or Black Cherry. Found a couple pics of both grips on a compact. So what's your Choice? I think I like the BC better but that could change a few beers from now.

That's a tough call but I'd probably go with the Black Cherry. 

 

I had a CZ for a while and I put those Coco Bolo grips on it. FYI- never ever buy the CZ 40P. I love CZ's but that one was a complete lemon.

They both look good.  I'm a little partial to the Black Cherry because they closely resemble the cocobolo grips I have on one of my CZ pistols.

I'm also partial to the Black Cherry, I think the color is better than the half-checked coco grips on my 75B.

Went ahead and ordered the Black Cherry. I've always liked that color on a black frame.

Great looking grips! Really looks classy on that gun. I'm curious how you feel about the thin metal mag base plates that come with it?

I can get enough of my pinky on the grip to not need an extension so I'm OK with them. I think the front of the base plate sticks out a little further from the grip than it needs to though.

Looks, good.  I just ordered the VZ grips for my PCR in the black desert tan. I ended up grinding my mag plates down so they are flush with the grip and touched them up with liquid gun blue, feels much better now.

No, BigK, I don't think you're being overly picky. I prefer the P-01 mag's baseplate as well. With my medium hands, it allows a perfect grip for me.

You're not being overly picky at all. If you like the P-01 base plates, well hell, that's the best reason I can think of to use them. I'll probably try them when I get around to picking up a couple more mags.
